Jean-Paul Demange

General Counsel

Jean-Paul joined Eolfi as General Counsel in 2007. In 2005, he founded his own law firm, dedicated exclusively to renewable energy, particularly wind power. Previously he held the position of attorney-at-law with with Ernst & Young (1998-2005), where he developed renewable energy expertise and gained invaluable knowledge, working alongside market developers, investors and banks. Having started his career as a lawyer at IBM France in 1981, Jean-Paul joined Arthur Andersen International as a legal and tax advisor in 1986, and lawyer in 1991.

Guy Auger

Chief Operating Officer

Guy, a Canadian, is COO of the company since 2007. He is responsible for our European development operations, both in the wind and solar sectors. He is also in charge of our Greensolver service business, and of Eolfi's support functions, including strategy, human capital, legal and finance.
Guy's previous experience was at Dell, where he took part in the company's growth in Europe for almost 10 years. At Dell, he had financial, commercial and marketing responsibilities for all of Europe. His last role was Managing Director at Dell Denmark from 2003 to the end of 2006.
Before that, following a first posting at Ernst & Young in Canada then in France, he has held senior finance roles at Häagen-Dazs, Quebecor Europe and Pepsi-Cola France.
Guy is a Chartered Accountant (Canada) and a graduate of McGill University and Stanford Executive Education.

Christine Hanon

Head of Wind and Solar Development, France

Christine joined Eolfi in 2009. As a European business developer and senior project manager in charge of solar projects with Veolia, and with 18 years' experience partnering large industrial projects, including the construction of the world's largest solar roof project for GM in Spain, Christine brings both renewable expertise and a wealth of cross-border industrial experience. Her responsibilities included client contract negotiations and multi-service contract development; she led multi-functional development teams across Europe and worked closely with US counterparts to help all teams capitalize on US-European best practice. Christine is American, with French nationality.

Andrzej Gromadzinski

Head of Wind Development, Poland

Andrzej joined Eolfi in 2009. Prior to joining Eolfi, he worked at Green Bear Corp, where he developed key business relations with strategic partners, technology providers, local authorities and land owners. He held senior technical and project positions with several energy, infrastructure and real estate development companies including Polish Energy Partners and the Polish Foundation for Fuel Efficiency. Andrzej is Polish, he speaks English and Russian.

Marios Makrandreou

General Manager, Greece

Marios joined Eolfi in 2010 and currently holds the position of Managing Director. Prior to this he has held positions including Managing Director of Diekat NdK SH.A and Vice General Director of Evroil SH.A. Earlier in his career he was Project Manager for Construction of Mobile Phone Network Stations of Panafon S.A and Cosmote S.A and Supervisor for Constructionof Panafon S.A. He holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of Dimokritos, Thrace, Department of Civil Engineering. He is married and father of two children.

David Delaire

Chief Technical Officer

David has 17 years management experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining Eolfi he worked with GE Wind Energy Europe as Operations Manager for Turkey and Southern Europe. His expertise encompassed all preventive maintenance activities, including business development, customer relationship management and operational and support activities. Previously, David held industrial project management positions in Turkey and the US. David is American and speaks Turkish and Spanish.

Véronique Montlaur

Member of the Board, Chief Financial Officer

Véronique joined Eolfi in 2009 as Head of Financial Services. Prior to Eolfi she held the post of Head of Financial Structuring with Dalkia, (Veolia Environnement), supporting worldwide affiliates in all aspects of internal/external growth, internal control and IFRS procedures. Previously with Alcan Group (Pechiney) as Financial Controller, she was responsible for financial reporting and analysis of activities in Europe. And prior to this, she was part of Pechiney's M&A team. She began her career in FX sales at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Pierre Rellet

Executive Chairman US Operations

Pierre has over 20 years experience in the waste management and energy sector, he joined Veolia Environnement in the late 80s. He successively worked as CFO and CEO of the Recycling division, then became CFO of the Waste division, and Managing Director of the Industrial Services business line.
In 2000, he was named Chief Executive Officer of Veolia's Waste Management division for France and South Europe where he restructured, doubled results and developed especially the firm's waste-to-energy business and biomass supply chain. In 2006 he founded Veolia's Renewable Energy division and joined Eolfi in 2007 as CEO following the acquisition by Veolia.
Pierre began his career as a financial consultant at Arthur Andersen. Since 2000, he has acted as President of different National French Business Federations and in 2006 was selected as President of FEAD, the European Federation of Waste Management and Environmental Services. Pierre holds a Master's degree in management and finance from the University of Paris IX (Dauphine).

Dennis Meany

President of Ridgeline

Dennis is responsible for economic evaluation, site commercialization, energy market analysis and finance. He has over twenty years' of experience in the energy business, serving most recently as senior vice president, business development of Louis Dreyfus Energy where he identified new business ventures, developed several wholesale market joint ventures with Western utilities and helped establish the company's electricity and natural gas trading business in Europe. He was also a founding member of a team that grew Louis Dreyfus and Duke/Louis Dreyfus into the second largest electric and natural gas trader and marketer in the U.S. From 1987 to 1993, he was a principal and senior associate with the global electric industry management consulting business of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of St. Aloysius School in Harlem, New York. He has a Master's degree in public policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in economics and European studies from the University of Vermont.

Robert Ellis

General Counsel of Ridgeline

Robert has a wide range of legal experience and provides general legal advice to the company, including transactional, real estate and corporate work. He has worked as an admiralty attorney at law firms in San Francisco and London on both litigation and transactional matters. Prior to joining Ridgeline, he was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, primarily involved in white-collar investigations. He has also been a line officer in the U.S. Navy and holds a master mariner's license. He has a Bachelor's degree in engineering and physics from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California. He is admitted to practice law in Washington and California.
