Eolfi launches Greensolver a new industrial service dedicated to wind and solar energy production

Eolfi, a subsidiary of Veolia Environment specialising in wind and solar, has launched Greensolver, an industrial service providing full and innovative solutions to finance, build and operate wind and solar parks.

Paris, June 9, 2010 - Today, France has over 4000MW of installed wind and solar capacity with annual growth of >1,000MW. In a tougher regulatory and financial environment, Greensolver meets the growing demand from green electricity producers for comprehensive expertise in park construction and management. The service is designed to pilot the entire construction project, from initial bidding and bank financing through to optimization of production and maintenance.

As part of its strategy, Eolfi plans to partner new owners of wind and solar projects. "Our extensive experience in the construction and operation of wind and solar parks can provide real value to owner-investors," said Alain Delsupexhe, General Manager of Eolfi. With 500 MW under management, an experienced Eolfi team is able to offer solutions at every stage of a project. Greensolver services minimize costs and risks associated with building a park, thanks to a strict budget and technical framework, on-site supervision and administrative, financial and legal guidance. To maximize power generation once operational, Greensolver identifies, analyzes and processes malfunctions and failures not secured by the manufacturers, to provide preventive and corrective quality maintenance. Finally, the offer comprises verification of compliance procedures and facilities for health and safety with environmental legislation, and includes negotiating insurance coverage.

Greensolver combines the strength of the world's leader in environmental services with dedicated wind and solar expertise. Stéphane Caine, President of Eolfi, said "our experience and understanding of the sector and its industrial challenges will benefit owners and ensure effective management and quality of their projects."
