Reaching peak power of 1.34 MW, the park is equipped with 5,000 solar panels that feed the local power grid at a rate of 1.2 million kWh per year, equivalent to the energy needs of 375 households. The 800 space car park is used by company employees.
The solar park extends the environmental programme already in place for PSA-Citroen in the Franche-Comté region. Designed, built and operated over a 20 year period by Veolia Environnement, the park is a key project for the Group and its dedicated renewable energy subsidiary Eolfi.
